Translational Neuroscience Day 2022 by NeurATRIS & Celphedia

NeurATRIS “Translational Neuroscience Day” is back for its fourth edition on December 06, 2022, at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris.

Co-organized with Celphedia, this new edition will be focused on animal models in neuroscience translational research and related hot topics.

Join us to learn more about current research in translational research, through 3 plenary sessions and 1 round table led by French key opinion leaders.

Take advantage of this day to interact with all key actors in the field: academic researchers, clinicians, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies.

Young researchers, do not miss the opportunity to highlight your work and submit an abstract to the poster session and/or to the “Next Generation Challenge”!

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Poster and "Next Generation Challenge" sessions

Poster and "Next Generation Challenge" sessions are open to Master, PhD and post-docs.

Take the opportunity of this event to highlight your research work in translational neuroscience (gene therapy, cell therapy, in vivo evaluation and therapeutic efficacy, drug therapy, animal models, ...).

We offer you the opportunity to promote your research in two ways:

  • share a poster during the in-person poster session,
  • or share a poster during the in-person poster session and apply to the “Next Generation challenge”.

Deadline for abstract submission has been extended to:

- November 16 at 6pm for the "Next Generation Challenge" session.
- November 30 at 6pm for the in-person poster session.

If you wish your abstract to be considered for a brief oral communication, please tick the box “Participation to the Next Generation challenge” (My profile>Organizer questions).

By submitting your abstract to the “Next generation challenge”, you agree to possibly introduce your work in few slides in front of the audience. Six abstracts will be pre-selected by a jury for a 10 min top oral presentation follow by 2 min questions. Laureates of the pre-selection will be informed on November 24, 2022.

The successful presenter will be awarded with a “NeurATRIS best oral presentation award" at the end of the meeting, by an in-site jury. This prize corresponds to a NeurATRIS financial support to cover transportation, housing and registration fees, up to a maximum of 2 000€, for an international meeting. In return, the laureate will have to present his/her work during the meeting (poster or a short oral communication).

    About the organizers

NeurATRIS is a French research infrastructure gathering academic and clinical research centers with the goal to accelerate the translation of discoveries in basic research into medical innovations for the treatment of nervous system diseases

NeurATRIS clients and partners have access to a complete and powerful range of expertise and equipment covering the entire value chain of neuroscience translational research through a one-stop shop.

Thus, NeurATRIS has gathered breakthrough competences and know-hows to achieve your projects in Neuroscience and proposes a range of services, partnerships, and training for the realization of your projects by bringing together:

    • Neuroimaging (MRI, PET, SPECT, 3D histology, PET-MRI hybrid, cell imaging platform, etc.),
    • Functional assessment (spectroscopy, cognitive and motor behavior, electrophysiology, etc.),
    • Neurodegenerative disease models (cell cultures, rodents, non-human primates, etc.),
    • Therapeutic approaches (gene and cell therapies, aptamers, functional neurosurgery, patient cohorts, bio-collections of cells, bloods, fluids, tissues, etc.)

CELPHEDIA (Creation, Breeding, Phenotyping, Distribution and Archiving of model organisms) mainly aims to develop innovative, standardized and massively parallel technological approaches, in order to accelerate the understanding of the genome and the generation of human or animal disease models. CELPHEDIA is a national and operational research infrastructure distributed over the French territory. Its goal is to improve and harmonize procedures and protocols, which guarantee efficiency and reliability, thus facilitating national or international access to the models of interest.

With 13 centers distributed throughout France, CELPHEDIA offers an outstanding range of expertise, skills and services, unique in Europe and covering 3 big families of animal models:

    • non mammalians
    • rodents
    • non-human primates
